Trekking and Horse Riding

We offer treks and lessons for individuals , groups and families for 1 or 2 hours. A great way to see the Irish countryside and we ensure that every experience is an enjoyable one. Whether you are a first timer or advance rider we can cater for you with a range of suitable Horses and Ponies.


For those who wish to keep their feet on the ground or want to combine some of the Activities we offer Archery inside and out so weather is not a problem.

Summer Camps 2015

A 3 day camp takes place July 15th to 17th for children from ages 7 upwards. The camp is a great opportunity to allow children to interact with the ponies and also improve their horse riding skills in a fun envirnoment. Booking is essential as place are limited. Cross Country

Training will take place on Friday evenings from 5 til 7 open to all with a variety of fences to practice on. Horses available for hire.

Pony Camps

We run Pony Camps during the School Holidays for Children age 7 and upwards. Children do not have to have their own Pony or Previous experience as we cater for all levels. Pony Camp allows the children to experience what it is like to own their own Pony and meet new Children. We run a variety of Games and Lessons and Hold a Show on the last day of Camp.

Cross Country

We organise Cross Country Training on site where we have a variety of encouraging fences for all levels. Booking is essential and is also dependent on weather.

Saddle Club

In Ballyjennings we have a Saddle Club set up that meet once a week. The Club allows children bring their own Ponies and we can help them with any issues they have. We organise a range of activities for them Show Jumping , Cross Country, Dressage , Hacks and Pony Games. We also hold competitions on site and have prizes for best turned out on a regular basis. The saddle club also includes a social aspect and we have outings to the Races , RDS and allows the children to meet new friends of all ages with similiar interests. Allthough we supervise the Saddle Club it is the Students who run it and decide on activities so that they cater for all Riders.
Riding Club

Ballinrobe Riding Club is based on site and it caters for Riders over 17 years of age who want to have fun and meet new people. We meet once weekly and also encourage our members to participate in competitions run by the AIRC . Horse Riding is a great way to keep fit and have fun meeting others. Of course lessons are follwed by Tea and Chat and we also organise Social outings on a regular basis. Please contact Trish Owens for further information. 087 2320141
